Join personal trainer and fitness instructor Tyra Fortson for her fantastic summer fitness classes at the farm. Her classes are great for all fitness levels and will offer whole body training in a positive, encouraging, and motivating atmosphere. Let’s start our mornings out strong and healthy, moving our bodies in a beautiful setting.
Barre Blend – A fun combination of barre, ballet, and Pilates style toning class. This class will have a strong emphasis on lean toning of the glute’s legs, and core, while working the entire body. The class will be low impact with cardio intervals during sets to burn and tone. This workout is a great addition to any cardio based classes or fitness routine.
WHEN: Weekly, Every Wednesday 10:15-11:15am – First Class is June 16th Last class is August 18th
AGES: 15 & up.
COST: $15 per class – Cash, Check, & Cash App accepted

All sessions are outdoors – If raining class will be cancelled
PLEASE BRING: Water bottle, light hand weights (2-5 pounds), and a mat or towel as needed.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Hi, my name is Tyra Fortson. I am so excited to join the Lavender Hill Fitness teaching team this coming summer. I am currently an art teacher and fitness instructor down state and have been teaching art for fifteen years and fitness for four years. I recently completed my personal training through ISSA and have taught many style fitness classes including Zumba, Weight training, Better Backs Yoga, Cardio Interval variety classes, Barre, Power Barre, Spin, Stretch, Cardio drumming, HIIT, and Bootcamp. I have been given the blessing of being able to spend the past ten summers and much free time in the Charlevoix area, and I love being in northern Michigan and the beauty of our surroundings. I spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying many activities, with friends, family, and community and have always had strong passion for fitness, health, and wellbeing both physically and emotionally throughout one’s life.
