Slow Flow Yoga

Slow flow yoga is a grounding movement practice that is for all yogic skill levels and ages. This yoga practice is deeply relaxing and connecting movement flow giving us tools to integrate into our lives. Lola creates a gentle, peaceful pace, and space for all yogis to dive deeper into the spaces between movements through breath and conscious flow of our own intuitive bodies.
WHEN: 5-6 PM on June 29th, July 27th, & August 24th, 2021
AGES: All Ages Welcome
COST: $15 per person. Forms of payment accepted are PayPal, Venmo or Cash

If participant minimum is not met two days prior, the workshop will be cancelled and, you will be notified by the instructor.
This class will be held outdoors and in case of inclement weather Lola will contact you with a rescheduled date and time.
PLEASE BRING: Please wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in, bring layers, and bring a blanket. You will need a yoga mat or towel, and you may bring any yoga props such as a bolster, block, and/or strap.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Yoga is an ancient practice of presence where we are giving ourselves the gift of connecting to our breath, our bodies, and our spirits through meditation, movement, and breath aka prana, life force energy. Lola Kennedy began practicing yoga in 2005. She began diving deeper in university under the instruction of Lee Carlson, where she learned the styles of Anusara hatha yoga, Kripalu style yoga, and the Iyengar method. Through this academic foundational yoga training, Lola was able to integrate these yoga styles within every aspect of her life and concentrations. She received her 200-hour certification in 2018 under the instruction of Tiffany Leneu of Be the Love yoga teacher training program. She teaches yoga at Northern Life Yoga in Sault, MI and has guest taught yoga at Balanced Living in Boyne City, MI. She is also a belly dance instructor, a reiki master practitioner, and performer. Lola offers a space for you to connect to your breath, your body, and your heart. Lola has a joyful, kind, intuitive and approachable demeanor which helps students feel comfortable, seen, and heard. Through her guidance you will have a chance to dive deeper in your practice.
