Photography Policy

Capture the magic of Lavender Hill Farm!

We encourage visitors to share the beauty of our farm through photography! Kindly tag us in any photos on social media and use our hashtags #LHFarm and #TheSeriesatLHF.

For posed and/or professional photography, please review the guidelines below.

General Guidelines

Please respect other visitors and the farm.
If you wish to take photographs outside regular operational hours (10AM – 5PM daily, May – October), email us at events@lavenderhillfarm.com for permission.
Our farm is open to the public, event guests, and employees. Paying any fee does not grant exclusive access.
Pets and drones are not permitted (see Drone Photography for exceptions).
Lavender Hill Farm may adjust this policy or deny photographer access at any time.

Posed & Professional Photography

Any posed photography and/or professional photography sessions (family, engagement, senior portraits, etc.) require a $50 fee per session/day. Mini sessions are $50 per day.
This fee applies whether the photographer is paid for the session or not.
Please submit payment along with a completed Photography Form to events@lavenderhillfarm.com.
Photographers for events (weddings, etc.) renting our facility are exempt from this fee but are encouraged to share photos for potential feature on our website and social media. Please email your event photos to events@lavenderhillfarm.com.

After-Hours Private Photography Sessions

After-Hours Private sessions, scheduled outside of normal business hours, include a golf cart and driver for up to 5 people, a changing room, restrooms, and gift shop access at the end of the shoot.
We aim to offer minimal disruption, but please note, full exclusivity cannot be guaranteed. A team member will be present to ensure other visitors stay out of frame, and we’ll extend your shoot time at no charge to compensate for any delays.
Private sessions are $100 per hour (2-hour minimum). Additional golf carts are available for $25 per hour.

Sessions must be booked and paid in full at least 2 weeks in advance. Refunds are not available. Specific location requests and alternate weather dates should be confirmed at booking.

Plein Air Artists

Those wishing to paint or draw our farm are welcome to do so free of charge. We do ask that you mention our farm in any published works, tag us on social media, and share your creations and successes with us — we love to celebrate your art!

Promotional Photographers

Qualifying journalists, lifestyle bloggers, or social media influencers taking photography on our farm with the purpose of promoting our business are welcome to photograph free of charge, once approved.

Please submit a completed Promotional Photographer Form to events@lavenderhillfarm.com for approval. Private sessions will not be discounted.

Drone Photography & Videography

Drones are not permitted on our property without a scheduled, paid session. Drone Sessions are $150 per half hour (1-hour minimum) and must be booked at least two weeks in advance. These sessions will always be booked outside of our operating hours. The drone operator must have a proper drone license. Drop-ins are NOT permitted.

Availability is limited, and booking is at the full discretion of Lavender Hill Farm. Refunds are not available. Drones must remain in their cases until the scheduled session time and approval is given by a Lavender Hill Farm staff member.

Specific photo shoot location requests and a backup weather date must be arranged at booking. To reserve a session, please submit payment, proof of license, date approval, and a completed Drone Photography Form.

Videography

Pricing for videography is set on a case-by-case basis. Advanced reservations are required. Please email us at events@lavenderhillfarm.com for inquiries regarding videography on our farm.

Videographers for special events hosted at our facility (such as weddings) are exempt from this payment. We would love it if you would share photos of your special day with us! Email access links to events@lavenderhillfarm.com to be featured on our website or social media.

In-House Photographers

Dreaming of photos at our farm but don’t have a photographer? Our in-house photographers know our property like the back of their hand and can help capture your memories with staged photography sessions!
