LGP About the Evening

The Evening

Starting at 5:30pm, ticketed guests will arrive at our Drying Shed parking lot, where golf cart shuttles await. Guests will be dropped off at our Ambassador Stand near the entrance of the Events Barn for check-in. From there, they can settle into a reserved table or find a comfortable spot on the lawn near the amphitheater.

The evening kicks off with pre-show entertainment by a Local Ground musician in our outdoor amphitheater from 6 – 7pm. Theater doors will open after 6pm, though many guests choose to relax outdoors, enjoying picnicking and good company. Themed beverages, Dos Locos Tacos, and treats will be available for purchase, and a silent auction will run throughout the night.

At 7:30pm, the highly anticipated Thornetta Davis performance begins. Theater Seat ticket holders will enter the barn for an up-close experience, while Lawn Seat guests will remain outdoors, soaking in the music. Please note that Lawn Seats do not offer a direct view of the main stage but will include a real-time audio and video view of the main stage show on a screen in the outdoor amphitheater.

Bring your own camp chair for lawn seating & pre-show enjoyment.

THE CAUSE

“From the first mammogram through remission, the Breast Health Fund supports, comforts, and cares for patients. Because early detection is so important for successful treatment, the fund offsets the cost for important diagnostic tests, including mammograms and biopsies, for patients in northern Michigan who are unable to afford them. During breast cancer treatment, patients receive assistance for transportation costs, lodging expenses, short term prescription aid, comfort items, and more. The fund also supports the needs of the Breast Health Department including equipment purchases.” – mclaren.org

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation for Breast Health.
