Lavender Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 3 Tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp ground culinary lavender buds (for flavor)
- 1 tsp whole culinary lavender buds (for aesthetic appeal)
- Lavender Hill Farm Lavender Maple Syrup (as needed)
Directions:
- Combine all dry ingredients (except whole lavender buds) in a bowl
- Whisk together wet ingredients in a separate bowl
- Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients
- Cook on lightly oiled or buttered skillet on medium heat
- Before flipping each pancake, sprinkle with whole culinary lavender buds
- Serve with Lavender Hill Farm Lavender Maple Syrup
Makes 12 small pancakes.
