Photography Policy
Welcome to Lavender Hill Farm! We encourage visitors to photograph our farm and kindly ask that you tag us in any photos on social media AND use our hashtags #LHFarm #TheSeriesatLHF

Guidelines
- Be kind to others and respect our farm.
- If you wish to take photographs outside of normal business hours, you must contact us via email (events@lavenderhillfarm.com) to arrange to be granted permission to be on farm property when it is closed. Trespassing is unlawful and not permitted.
- Our 2024 summer season farm hours are 10am – 5pm daily May 10 – October 27. (Closed July 4th)
- Our farm is open to the public, event goers, employees and fellow lavender lovers during days and hours posted. Paying any fee does NOT give exclusive rights or access. Please be considerate and kind to others enjoying our farm.
- NO PETS
- NO DRONES (see Drone Photography section below for exceptions)
- Lavender Hill Farm reserves the right to alter this policy or refuse photographer access at any time for any reason.
Posed and/or Professional Photography
Posed photography includes mini sessions, family, senior photos, engagement, prom, pregnancy, weddings*, fashion, portrait and the like. The photographer does NOT need to be receiving payment for the shoot OR be considered a “professional” for this fee to apply.
Professional Photography includes anyone who could make money from their photos or is considered a professional photographer. This also includes commercial photography and stock photography.
There is a $50 per session/ per day fee for posed photography sessions and professional photography at our farm. (Mini sessions are $50 per day) Please submit payment along with printed and completed Photographer Form prior to your photo session. We accept all major credit cards.
*Photographers for special events renting our facility (such as weddings) are exempt from this payment. We would love it if you would share photos of your special day with us! Email a photo access link to events@lavenderhillfarm.com to be featured on our website or social media.
Private Photography Sessions
Private photo or videography sessions at our farm are scheduled outside of our normal business hours and are a great way to maximize the use of your time. Private sessions include a golf cart and driver for up to 5 persons, a changing room, restrooms, and the gift shop at the end of the shoot. While these sessions will be scheduled outside of farm business hours, we cannot guarantee full exclusivity. A member of our team will be present to ask other visitors to exit camera frame and we will extend your photo shoot time free of charge for any delays caused by afterhours farm guests.
Private Photography sessions are $100 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours per session. Sessions must be scheduled and paid at least two weeks in advance. Additional golf carts can be requested at $25 per hour. Availability is limited and booking is at the full discretion of Lavender Hill Farm. Refunds are not available. Specific photo shoot location requests and an alternate weather date must be scheduled at the time of booking. Date approval, submission of payment and a completed Photographer Form will reserve your session. We accept cash, check or credit cards. Plein Air Artists
Those wishing to paint or draw our farm are welcome to do so free of charge. We do ask that you mention our farm in any published works, tag us on social media and let us know of your achievements!
Promotional Photographers
Qualifying journalists, lifestyle bloggers or social media influencers taking photography on our farm with the purpose of promoting our business are welcome to photograph free of charge once approved. Submit a completed Promotional Photographer Form to events@lavenderhillfarm.com for approval. Private sessions will not be discounted.
Drone Photography & Videography
Drones are not permitted on our property without a scheduled, paid session. Drone Sessions are $150 per half hour with a minimum of 1 hour per session and must be booked at least two weeks in advance. These sessions will always be booked outside of our operating hours and the drone operator must have a proper drone license. Drop-ins are NOT permitted. Availability is limited and booking is at the full discretion of our events director. Refunds are not available. Drones must remain in their carrying cases until the scheduled time slot and a LHF employee is present and has given the go ahead. Specific photo shoot location requests and an alternate weather date must be scheduled at the time of booking. Submission of payment along with date approval, proof of license and completed Drone Photography Form will reserve your session.
Videography
Pricing for videography is set on a case-by-case basis. Advanced reservations are required. Please email us at events@lavenderhillfarm.com for inquiries regarding videography on our farm.
Videographers for special events hosted at our facility (such as weddings) are exempt from this payment. We would love it if you would share photos of your special day with us! Email access links to events@lavenderhillfarm.com to be featured on our website or social media.
In-House Photographer
Want photos taken at our farm but need a photographer? Our in-house photographers know our property like the back of their hand and can help capture your memories with staged photography sessions.
