We have discovered the three steps to creating the perfect Valentine’s Day!
Step 1: MAKE IT
DIY Valentine’s can range from handmade gifts and cards, to making something together on the special day. Building something together can be a wonderful family activity or romantic experience for you and your loved one.
Dried Lavender Centerpieces
What you’ll need: a glass jar, a dried lavender bunch, twine, a candle (we suggest lavender), and glue. Instructions: Lay out wax paper or something to protect your working surface. Use your glass jar to measure how short to trim your dried lavender stems. Be careful when handling, as the buds may fall off. Using a glue that dries clear, glue the twine to the jar tying it off with a little space for the lavender. Then insert one stem at a time alternating sides to achieve balance. Once completely dry, place your candle inside and you are done! Photo Credit
